Last Day To Apply For Olympics Tickets

I finally got around to applying for Olympics tickets yesterday. In the end I went for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, 3 or four athletics events, one swimming event and one basketball event. I quite like basketball but that was more because I have a much better shot at actually getting tickets to that one!

Fingers crossed I get something at least – I’ll be very disappointed if I don’t, though I know it’s a strong possibility as a lot of the events I’ve applied for will be very popular. After all, watching an Olympic event is on my bucket list, and what better opportunity will I have? If I don’t get allocated any tickets, I suppose I’ll have to try and get some of the left-over tickets for other sports when they go on sale, or head to some of the general admission events like the marathon.

Apparently the ticket website is really struggling tonight. I suppose it keeps crashing. – applications are only accepted until midnight tonight. I thought it might crash, so I’m glad I thought ahead and put my application in last night!

About elentari86

Apparently blogs need to cover a certain niche in order to attract readers. My aim is not to attract readers. I don't deny it would be nice not to just be spouting to myself, but the reason I set this blog up was to give myself somewhere to write down my thoughts. If anyone reads them, that's a bonus. This blog will cover a mix of things - anything that comes to mind that I want to write about. I make no promises about how often I will publish new content.

Good luck! I know it’s a while away, but I can’t wait to see your pictures.

Haha, thanks! The tickets were expensive so I’ve gone for the cheapest ones, which will probably be at the back, so Idoubt I’ll have anything good of the events. I’ll definitely tale some in the Olympic park though!

Apparently ticket demand was through the roof though. 😦
