Kind of Awesome: A Brief History Of Title Design

In less than three minutes, this video shows title cards for various films and a couple of TV series (I spotted Six Feet Under) which demonstrates how they’ve evolved and got more adventurous and creative over the years.

I would have liked to see more of some of them and there are a few good ones which are missing (The Matrix, for example) but it’s an interesting video if you’re into this kind of thing.

About elentari86

Apparently blogs need to cover a certain niche in order to attract readers. My aim is not to attract readers. I don't deny it would be nice not to just be spouting to myself, but the reason I set this blog up was to give myself somewhere to write down my thoughts. If anyone reads them, that's a bonus. This blog will cover a mix of things - anything that comes to mind that I want to write about. I make no promises about how often I will publish new content.

  1. Excellent post. They always give a show a certain feeling right off the bat.
